Introduction

You’re invited to a unique Potion Room at the Cutter & Squidge School of Wizarding Alchemy, where delectable food and magical potions collide in our fantastic and exclusive fantasy world. As a budding wizard, you’ll be welcomed to join our Potion Master for an immersive experience where you’ll discover some of their secrets while feasting on a feast for the senses. You’ll be treated to a delectable sweet and savory Afternoon Tea inspired by classic British flavors throughout the event, and this, along with the drinkable and edible potions you’ll be making, will ensure that you’re bubbling over by the finish! We won’t give too much away; instead, you’ll have to come and see for yourself!

Ticket Types

Standard Ticket – Includes admission to the Potion Class experience as well as a full afternoon tea feast (children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult).

VIP Ticket – includes admission to the Potion Class experience, a full afternoon tea feast, and one alcoholic beverage from our unique Potion Room menu, as well as a limited edition goodie bag.

Ticket for Children (8-12 yrs old) – A lesser version of the full afternoon tea feast and admission to the Potion Class experience (anyone over the age of 12 will not be permitted entry using this ticket) Every youngster must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

VIP Ticket for Children (8-12 yrs old) – Potion Class admission includes a smaller version of the entire afternoon tea feast, a wizard’s drink, and a special edition souvenir bag. This ticket will not allow anyone over the age of 12 to enter. Every youngster must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

FAQs

Do you have any dietary restrictions?

Our vegetarian and vegan menus are both halal-certified. Nuts are also on our normal menu. Please be aware that no additional dietary restrictions will be met.

Do you have any allergy-friendly options?

While every precaution is taken to ensure that no contamination happens, all items are manufactured in a kitchen that handles nuts, eggs, gluten, milk, and soya, therefore trace nuts and other allergens may be present in all of our meals.

Is the Wheat-Free Menu OK for coeliacs?

Our Wheat Free menu has been created without wheat or gluten, however, because it was made in a facility that also handles gluten, there may be trace gluten present. This cuisine is not suited for people who have severe gluten sensitivities or celiac disease.

I’m expecting a child; is the menu OK for me?

Everything on our menu is safe to eat during pregnancy!

Can I let you know if I have any dietary restrictions when we arrive on the day?

No. If you don’t give us at least 7 days’ warning (1 week) before your ticket date, we won’t be able to ensure that your menu will be available.

Is it possible to receive a printed ticket?

No. Your ticket is the PDF linked to the email you receive after you finish your booking. We’re afraid we won’t be able to supply you with a printed ticket.

Is it possible for me to get a refund?

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

My confirmation email has yet to arrive. So, what should I do now?

Please check your spam/junk folder after 30 minutes. If you have not received your email, please contact us.

Is it possible to adjust the number of tickets in my reservation?

No, you won’t be able to adjust the number of tickets you have, but you can try to buy additional. Simply make a reservation under the same name so that we can seat you together.

Is it possible to acquire a credit note?

No. We are unable to provide you with a credit note since we cannot guarantee that you will be able to book at a convenient time.

Is it okay if I bring my child?

No. We regret that we are unable to let any youngsters under the age of eight to the Potion Room. This is due to the fact that the experience is participatory and is not ideal for small children or infants, who may interfere with other guests’ enjoyment.

Why are children under the age of eight not permitted?

We have an age policy in place since this experience is very participatory and is not recommended for children under the age of eight. In addition, the Potion Room is licensed to offer alcohol, however, we are not authorized to be responsible for minors.

Why aren’t we able to sit together?

Due to the Potion Room’s layout, all guests will be seated near together, however, you may not be seated next to one other. The Potion Room has a maximum capacity of 10 pupils at any given time.

What should I do if I wish to bring a large group?

Because it reveals availability in real-time, the booking system is the safest and easiest approach to ensure huge bookings. If the system does not allow you to reserve all ten tickets, it implies that they are unavailable and that you must choose another date. Due to the architecture of the room and the experience, we cannot handle groups greater than 10 in a single Potions Class.

Is it possible for me to hire a whole Potions Class for a private event?

If you want the room to be exclusively yours and your guests’, you must buy all 10 tickets for a day and time period that is available. Our booking system, which reveals availability in real-time, is the ideal way to find a suitable day. If the system does not allow you to reserve all ten tickets, it implies that they are unavailable and that you must choose another date.

Is there any sort of clothing code?

There is no dress rule, however, we encourage aspiring wizards and witches to dress up in costume if they choose.

Is there access for wheelchairs or are there stairs?

Unfortunately, our Potion Room is not wheelchair accessible. We are unable to give wheelchair access due to the historic heritage of the property and the Potion Room’s location in the old basement reached by stairs.

Is there a requirement for the identification or minimum age to attend the event?

Please bring identification because we offer alcohol. Children’s tickets are for children aged 8 to 12, and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is it possible for me to leave my luggage?

No. We have enough room for coats and bags, but not for suitcases or strollers.

Is it possible for me to buy something?

Yes! We have a gift shop on our website, as well as products available for purchase in our café on the day.

Is it possible to purchase a gift certificate for a friend?

Yes. In our online gift shop, you may purchase a gift certificate. Vouchers are valid for ten months and can be used for a variety of ticket kinds. Tell your recipient to make a reservation as soon as possible to ensure their preferred time and date.
