Sunset Lighthouse Cruise 2022, July Event, Cape Ann, MA

Introduction

Support one of Cape Ann’s National Iconic Landmarks by taking a professionally narrated sunset Lighthouse cruise of the coast and its six historic lighthouses! We can’t promise a picture-perfect sunset cruise, but we can promise a great time. Bring your own picnic supper or buy one on board. Make sure you’re available for the Tuesday and alternating Thursday cruises!

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

A ticket acknowledges that the Town of Rockport, the Thacher Straitsmouth Town Committee, and the Thacher Island Association release and discharge the Town of Rockport, the Thacher Straitsmouth Town Committee, and the Thacher Island Association from all responsibility, liability, claims, and causes of action that result or could result from this Cruise on the 7 Seas Whale Watch Privateer IV, and hereby assumes all risks associated with said Cruise.

SUNSET CRUISE DATE

COVID PRECAUTIONS

All travellers must receive COVID immunizations. To board the cruise ship, proof of immunisation is necessary. In enclosed spaces on the cruise ship, all guests must wear a mask to cover their nose and mouth at all times. The COVID guidelines in effect in Massachusetts at the time of the cruise shall be followed. There will be no reimbursements as a result of this action.

Call the Thacher Island Association at 617-599-2590 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. everyday for questions and special requirements. Your call will be returned if you provide your name and phone number. Except for particular queries about the cruise ship, please do not contact 7 Seas Whale Watch.

TICKETS

Each passenger must have a ticket with a QR Code. The QR Code will be scanned to board the Cruise ship. NO passenger will be admitted without a ticket. This is a fundraiser and all General Admission tickets are $50.00, regardless of age or membership level in the Thacher Island Association.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellations received 7 days or more prior to the Tuesday Cruise date will receive a full refund of the $50.00 ticket fee. Make sure you’ll be available for the Tuesday and alternating Thursday cruises. Between your Tuesday and Thursday Cruise dates, there will be no refunds. If the Tuesday cruise is cancelled due to weather, your ticket will be immediately transferred to the Thursday cruise date. There will be no refunds if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather. Half of the passengers will be rescheduled to an alternate date if COVID size of gathering limits are imposed, at the discretion of the Thacher Island Association. There will be no reimbursements as a result of this action.

WHICH ITEMS SHOULD I BRING TO THE PARTY?

During the cruise, the galley on board the Privateer IV will be open for food and drink purchases. The cruise departs from 7 Seas Whale Watch, 63 Rogers St, Gloucester Harbor, 01930, and cruises into Gloucester Harbor, past the Ten Pound Lighthouse, and around the Dog Bar before departing. The Eastern Point Lighthouse comes next, followed by the Thacher Island Twin Lights, the Straitsmouth Lighthouse, and the Annisquam Lighthouse, which is located where the Annisquam River enters Ipswich Bay. The cruise ship will loop around at the Annisquam River and travel the same journey backwards, allowing passengers to take in the sights once more. The cruise comes to an end where it began.
