2022 The Glasshouse High Tea | Best Event The Grounds of Alexandria

Each of your guests will savour a buffet of sumptuous high tea bites, which may include:

• a little sandwich with toasted almonds and mint-flavoured poached chicken salad.
• On rye, with horseradish cream cheese and smoked salmon.
• A tiny tartlet filled with caramelised onions, tarragon, and wild mushrooms with fontina.
• A little pumpkin, walnut, and goat cheese sable with maple roasting.
• A little choux with hazelnuts and chocolate.
• Buttercream with passion fruit creates a tiny melting experience.
• A tiny shortcake with raspberries, white chocolate, and pears.
• A pink grapefruit tartlet in miniature with a little lemon crème.
• A tiny scone accompanied by homemade raspberry and rosewater jam, lemon curd, and Chantilly cream.
• A cup of tea, a cup of coffee, or some juice
• Our High Tea menu can be modified to meet vegetarian dietary needs upon request.

Please be aware that the High Tea menu is subject to change without warning and that extra drinks can be purchased on the day.

BOOKINGS

Each ticket costs $82 plus applicable booking fees for The Grounds of Alexandria event.  Please be aware that each session requires the purchase of a minimum of 6 tickets and a maximum of 8 tickets.

BE ADVISED

Please make sure you buy a ticket for each member of your group in one go. On an actual day, more seats cannot be added, unfortunately. A minimum of 24 hours must pass before any reservations can be made.

Your group will get 90 minutes of exclusive usage of The Glasshouse in The Grounds of Alexandria after it has been reserved (as per the time on your ticket).

Please be aware that customers who reserve The Glasshouse High Tea, and Grounds of Alexandria after 10 am will be the only ones who have access to alcoholic beverages. Alcohol will only be served to customers who are at least 18 years old, and photo identification may be requested. First-come, first-served policy will be used while selling tickets for The Glasshouse High Tea.

All meals will be served on shared plates. On the day, drinks can be ordered from the menu.
In order to be seated, please visit The Grounds of Alexandria Host Desk 10-15 minutes before the start of your session.

Menu and styling for the Glasshouse High Tea are subject to change without notice.
After your experience is over, you are not permitted to take any candles, flowers, or dinnerware. Items that go missing could incur fees.

Refund requests must be submitted at least seven days before your session because we have a limited number of slots available. Within seven days of your reservation, refund claims won’t be taken into consideration.
Since it’s going on outside, the weather could affect it. If there is extreme or unfavourable weather, such as high temperatures or torrential rain, your High Tea reservation

FAQs

What should I do if I only want to reserve a private High Tea session for a few people?

That’s okay; you’ll still need to buy a minimum of 6 tickets, but you’ll be able to take any leftover food home with you!

Can I reserve a private High Tea event for a group larger than 8 people?

No, we can currently only accommodate a maximum of 8 visitors in The Glasshouse.

Can the menu be modified to satisfy special dietary needs?

A vegetarian diet can be accommodated on our high tea menu, however other dietary requirements cannot be met.
