As we greet the first day of June 2022 and our annual Scottish Highland Lunch, the kilts will be swirling.
This event, held at Cellos Grand Dining Room, is a highlight of our annual events calendar and should not be missed!

Featuring

Elizabeth Munro and the Argyle Dancers Pipes & Drums of the City of Sydney with Pipe Major, Sam Young Poetry Recital by Alex Parker Highland dance by Elizabeth Munro and the Argyle Dancers Pipes & Drums of the City of Sydney with Pipe Major (our MC for the day).

Haggis Whiskey Ceremony Parading & More!!! There will be prizes for the best-dressed male and female, so don your best Scottish garb and make a reservation for a table of friends now!

With the help of one of our trained volunteers, get behind the scenes access and learn more about the magnificent Nene Wetlands.

Nene Wetlands Wildlife Wander

Detailed Description

Explore the Nene Wetlands, Northamptonshire’s largest nature reserve, with one of our trained volunteers. The walk may include a visit to Wilson’s Pits (weather permitting), a beautiful area of lakes, meadows, and reed beds that is generally closed to the public to protect its fragile wildlife populations.

Binoculars will be available to rent for the duration of the walk, which begins at Rushden Lakes Retail Park’s Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre (5 hours free parking is available at the retail park).

The group size will be limited to prevent the spread of Covid-19, and all equipment will be sanitized before and after usage. Please do not attend the walk if you are feeling poorly in any way, and if you begin to feel unwell during the walk, please notify the walk leader immediately.

Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing because the paths may be slick and rough in parts. suitable for the weather
